ART
Through my art I hope to inspire people in their search for a new green or social identity and reconnect with the “Light” in their hearts. With my “Elements” series I aim to give a voice to Mother Earth who shares her unlimited love and abundance through her rivers, forests, air and the riches contained in her soil. While the images are mine, the inspiration for the language comes from the natural world.
Overview
The six photographs on sale have been taken during my international travels and are a part of my 2018 “Elements, a journey into the language of Mother Earth” calendar. Each art piece is an 18 by 18 inches metal print with floating frame and creates different lightscapes dependent on the ambient room light and time of day. Each can be purchased for $199 (excluding shipping and handling)

See
$199.00
The “See the Light in All” picture was taken in the Arctic during the 2015 “Narwhal Transformative Technologies” expedition. Since it was August, the sun didn’t set and I decided to go for a hike by a little stream. When I looked at these beautiful plants, also called arctic cotton or suputi (or pualunnguat in Inuktitut), I saw beauty in each and every single one of them, hence the inspiration to look at “All” with the same mindset!
Listen
$199.00
The “Listen … to another language” picture was taken in one of the greenhouses of the New York Botanical garden where I love to stroll all while photographing plants and flowers. The plants in this image caught my attention because two of them seemed to be having a great conversation. Plant communication exists and the “Listen” artwork reminds us to be aware of the more subtle things one can pick up when attentive.
Balance
$199.00
The “After the Storm balance gets restored” picture was taken in Puerto Vallarta (Mexico) after a spectacular storm that included thunder, lightning and torrential rain. It was a late summer afternoon and just when you thought life on earth was going to end, the clouds dissipated and the sun came through. Harmony returned in an instance and that is when I snapped the image.
Elevate
$199.00
The “Elevate yourself Beyond what is known to you” picture was taken in the Ubud patio of a Shaman in Bali. It is the typical Lotus flower that reminds us that when experiencing something negative, there is always room for a positive interpretation or growth. Our perception often limits our belief and if you elevate your thoughts, a new reality can grow.
